WEEK OF PRAYER
Day 4
Thursday January 5, 2022
Let’s do some door opening prayer.
Colossians 4:3, “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ.”
Ephesians 6:19, “Pray for me, that whenever I open my mouth, words may be given known the mystery of the gospel.”
1 Corinthians 16:9, …”because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me.”
1 Corinthians 2:4-5, “My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, so that your faith might not rest on men’s wisdom, but on God’s power.”
FOLLOW THE PROGRESSION:
Paul asked for WORDS to be given to him and that he would speak with boldness.
Then Paul says a wide door has been opened to him.
Then he says his preaching was accompanied by the power of God.
WE SHOULD FOLLOW THIS EXAMPLE:
Let’s pray for open doors to share the Gospel.
Let’s pray for bold proclamation.
Let’s pray for a demonstration of power to accompany the Gospel shared.
We pray for a wide door to be opened to us to go through and declare the word the Lord has given us with a demonstration of the power of God.
