Our Beliefs

The one true and living God, who eternally exists in three persons in unity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
The divine inspiration and authority of Holy Scripture.
The original perfection of creation; the inherent corruptness of humanity through the Fall; the necessity of repentance and regeneration by grace and through faith in Christ alone, and the eternal separation from God of the finally unrepentant.
The Virgin Birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection, ascension and continuing intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ. His second coming and eternal kingdom reign.
The justification and sanctification of believers through the finished work of Christ, their security as they remain in Him and their future resurrection in an incorruptible body.
The Sacraments of Baptism by immersion and of the Lord’s Supper.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers with supernatural signs empowering the Church for its mission in the world.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit for the building up of the Church and ministry to the world.
Christ’s leadership of the Church through Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, Teachers and elders for the unity, maturity and growth of the Church.
The privilege and responsibility of wise stewardship of all that God has given, including the practice of tithes and offerings to the local church.

IMPACT TRAX are designed to inform and empower your journey from first time guest at Impact Church to being a fully engaged and equipped member of God’s family.  Each of the IMPACT TRAX reflect the values and culture here at Impact Church, and each contain specific tools and resources to help you navigate life’s journey with the body of Christ.

Connect
God loves everyone and wants us all to know what it means to find genuine belonging and connection within His family. This track will assist you in getting to know the pastors, leaders, and staff at Impact Church, as well as its history and vision. This track will also provide opportunities to develop relationships, connect with others, and ultimately find your own unique place within the family of God.

Follow
The realization of God’s love and acceptance is a vital moment in our lives, one where we find ourselves responding to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him on our journey through life. This track will introduce you to the love, grace, and acceptance of God and equip you with the foundational tools and resources to follow Jesus in your new life with Him.

Discover
This track will assist you in a journey of self discovery as you learn who you are in Christ and who He is in you. Through focused discipleship, mentoring, and training opportunities you will discover your own unique set of gifts, strengths, and passions.  In this track you will discover your life’s purpose and be equipped to confidently pursue your God given dreams.

Invite
When the people of God gather together to worship, God is present and active to transform lives and demonstrate His goodness. This track will put practical and strategic tools in your hands to help you invite and encourage others to come and share the experience of God and His goodness. This track will also equip you to become an effective member of a welcoming and hospitable culture.

Give
This track is designed  to help you enter into a lifestyle of generosity that demonstrates God’s goodness and His desire to bless you and the world around you. This track will provide the opportunity to partner with God in stewarding the resources that He has given to you, and to enter into the cycle of blessings that cheerful givers and generous people are promised.

Serve
This track will empower you to serve Christ, His people, and the world around you by providing opportunities to serve that will engage your own unique gifts, skills, and personality.  This opportunity to learn and grow in effectively serving the people in your world will empower you to make a lasting impact in every sphere of your life.

Enjoy
God has given us all things freely to enjoy, his joy is our strength, and joy is a fruit of His Spirit’s presence and activity in our lives. Fun, laughter, and the ability to enjoy life, God, and one another is something that permeates all of our tracks and the whole of our life together at Impact Church.

Our Priorities

Discipleship

Jesus commanded us to go and disciple the nations. Instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:18-20) We value a holistic discipleship process that will result in followers of Jesus becoming Christ-like in their behaviour. His life impacting every area of our lives so that we are manifesting the greater works that He promised we would do. (John 14:12)

Worship

Worship is the purpose of creation and salvation. We are to give God pleasure as we make worship our lifestyle. True worship is glorifying God in all we think, say and do. Worship is our response to God for who He is and what He has done and it should be both personal and corporate. When we worship the Lord in Spirit and in truth we encounter His glory and we are transformed into His likeness.

Spirit- Driven

God is looking for an intimacy-driven church, a spirit-driven, glory-driven church. God is not looking for a moral people who do good works on His assembly line. He does not need workers; He wants lovers. We value the presence of Holy Spirit. We expect people to interact with the living God in our gatherings. We will be a New Testament church where gifts of the Spirit are in full expression: healing, miracles, prophecy etc … The only interaction you have ever had or will have with God is through the agency of Holy Spirit.

Excellence

We value a standard of excellence in all we say or do. The Bible instructs us, “Let every detail in your lives—words, actions, whatever—be done in the name of the Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step of the way.” Colossians 3:17 (The Message) Mediocrity and half-hearted effort is not worthy of our high calling as Ambassadors of the Kingdom.

Equipping For Ministry
We value the role and function of 5-fold ministers to equip believers for ministry. “Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.” Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)

Team Ministry
We believe and value doing ministry as a team. Team ministry is the best approach to manifest the full nature of the New Testament church. We are committed to the success of one another and celebrate the gifting and callings of every individual. Our highest value is on what we can accomplish together as a community of faith. “He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” Ephesians 4:16 (NLT)

Our History

We are members of an Apostolic network called The Apostolic Church In Canada. Our desire is to raise up:

“A vibrant and authentic Apostolic community across Canada.”

The Apostolic Church was first formed in 1916 as a result of the 1904 Welsh revival, we are a Trinitarian, Pentecostal network of churches with a strong commitment to mission. We have established Apostolic movements in over 90 countries, many of whom are self-governing.
